We are a bilingual congregation, we worship together at the same time in English and Spanish, since the 1950s when a Spanish congregation merged with the English congregation, which existed at our present location since 1910. This is the first congregation in Los Angeles, started in a tent meeting by G.W. Riggs in 1893. Many existing congregations grew out of Sichel Street.
We are mostly active in Spanish work, including the annual Seminario Sur de California, a large gathering of Spanish-speaking churches of Christ, Project Macedonia, providing aide to Latin American brethren suffering natural disasters, and the Instituto B
