The Wyoming Avenue Church of Christ is hosting the 35th National Jail/Prison Ministry Workshop. The date is June 11-13, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel, Livonia, Michigan. The hotel phone number for registration is (734) 464-1300 and mention the workshop. Please register at the hotel as soon as possible. The Planning Committee has several events and tours plan for persons attending the workshop (Detroit Tiger Game, Motown Museum and Henry Ford Museum). The NewLife Behavior Ministry (NLB) curriculum is often used inside the prisons, with family members of offenders, with ex-offenders and with anyone struggling to overcome an addition. When used in prison ministries, the curriculum is often used in the United States in the following ways: Juvenile Detention Facilities, County Jails, State and Federal Prisons, Substance Abuse Programs, Parolee Programs, After-Care Programs, and Youth/Family Ministries. Please avail yourself to take an active part and attend the many workshop sessions that have been prepared for your growth and knowledge. The theme is "Unlock the Mind and the Soul will Follow".
