The Jackson Heights Church of Christ in Florence, Alabama is seeking an
experienced, full-time minister who will serve as our primary pulpit
preacher. Other duties will include coordination of care groups, personal
evangelism, Bible class teacher, visiting members and visitors, preparation
of bulletin articles, assisting in winning the lost / edifying the saved,
and other typical duties. Our desire is to find a doctrinally sound man
who is ready to “hit the ground running”.
Jackson Heights is an established congregation which has maintained a
reputation for soundness throughout its history. The congregation has a
current membership of ~ 280, an eldership, deacons, a heritage of being
mission-minded (internationally and domestically) and benevolent, and we
have recently completed a building renovation project.
Florence is a wonderful area in which to raise a family and enjoy a
reasonable cost of living. We are located just minutes from the campus
of Heritage Christian University, The University of North Alabama, Mars Hill
Bible School, and area public schools. A competitive compensation package
is available.
