Since February 2005 I have served as the pulpit minister for the Lamar church of Christ in Lamar, Colorado. To encourage fellowship among the leaders and the members of the church we used concepts such as a Blitz Visitation in 2005. The education program has been improved by hosting a teacher training workshop from Bear Valley Bible Institute. I have overseen and organized evangelistic seminars and campaigns in all the places where I have lived.
Over the last few years, I have started a custom of meeting with the congregation’s leadership toward the end of the year and setting goals for the up-coming year. Having goals gives the congregation a way to measure growth and progress in its work of reaching the lost and building the members. We would be an asset to any congregation because of our teaching and communication abilities, plus ideas we have like Blitz Visitation, Monday Night for the Master and other suggestions.

Married preacher with 15 years experience seeks to relocate to Colorado,
Tennessee, Alabama, Texas or Florida, but will consider other areas. I am a 1994 graduate of the Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies. We are looking
for a sound church with good leadership. I use Powerpoint for most sermons,
have written two books and several articles. I enjoy teaching in small groups,
personal evangelism and seeing people discover and employ their gifts.

I became a Christian in 1985 after studying with a Christian roommate in
college. I was encouraged to preach by members of the Fairbanks, Alaska
congregation after regular participation in a Sunday night preaching rotation.
I am a 1994 graduate of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, Colorado.
I enjoy teaching in small groups and one-on-one personal evangelism studies,
calling on visitors to the assemblies and planning special events like
campaigns, VBS and gospel meetings.
Over the last year and a half I have conducted 11 studies with non-Christians
resulting in 7 baptisms. Preaching full time in three states and in Canada,
plus coning from a non-churched background, has helped me to see "church life"
from several different perspectives. In addition to church work I have held
positions in various community organizations that have helped me grow in my
