From the brothers and sisters in Cairo Egypt The Cairo church of Christ was planted in the 1990's and now has close to 120 members. The fellowship was originally linked to the International churches of Christ. However with the implosion of the ICOC and many of those congregations now finding themselves essentially on their own, many churches have reconnected with their brethren in the mainstream of the brotherhood. In December 2007, I was invited to Egypt to attend and preach at the Cairo church. As I personally met with the leaders on several different occasions, they requested my assistance in getting the message out that they exist and would like the "world" to know of their existence. They would also like to dialogue with other Christians and congregations who would like to take an interest in the work they are doing within Egypt. They would also welcome inquiries made for people who are planning on visiting Egypt. Please contact me for further information.
